Synťáky, outsiderská estetika a postupy DIY, to jsou JayRõ, jeden z nových objevů české indie scény.
Duo Jáchym Kovář aka YASHA a Robert Kříž alias Ambedo vydávají na vlastním labelu Oddity Records, který založili ještě předtím, než společně začali studovat hudbu na univerzitě v Berlíně. Loni pak JayRõ, jako oddaní milovníci syntezátorů, zaujali sebevědomým debutovým EP Suburban Sausages, které nepostrádá humor a hudební nadhled. Na desce, kterou psali mezi Berlínem a Prahou, se promítají inspirace osmdesátkovým zvukem i vlivy interpretů jako Tame Impala nebo Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Kromě individuálních koncertů si už stihli zahrát například se Sundays on Clarendon Road nebo kapelou Viah, vítězkami loňského Czechingu.

Duo Jáchym Kovář aka YASHA and Robert Kříž aka Ambedo release music on their own label Oddity Records, founded before both artists began studying music at a Berlin university. The self-proclaimed synth nerds’ debut EP Suburban Sausages stirred the local indie waters thanks to its light humor and utter self-confidence. Written between Prague and Berlin the record draws its sound from the 80s as well as their contemporaries Tame Impala or Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Though their career is still at the beginning, JayRõ have already shared the stage with last year’s Czeching winner viah or outsider electro cult favorites Sundays on Clarendon Road.
