Aiko

Atmosférický sound, hypnotický hlas, euforické refrény, bohaté popové aranže, chytré české i anglické texty, výrazně stylizované videoklipy – to všechno je Aiko, která ještě v loňském roce byla sólovou muzikantkou, od letošního ledna už ji ale na pódiích můžeme vídat ve trojici s kytaristou a bubeníkem. Na debutové EP Aiko (2018) a první dlouhohrající desku Expiration Date (2020) se mimořádně talentovaná hudebnice chystá navázat ještě do konce tohoto roku ambiciózní novinkou. Zpěvačka a skladatelka, která svou kariéru začínala v talentové soutěži Česko hledá SuperStar a následně koncertovala na festivalech jako Sziget nebo Waves Vienna, je připravena na mezinárodní slávu: ostatně, před nedávnem se její fotka objevila v rámci kampaně EQUAL na newyorském Times Square.

Aiko

Aiko was born in Moscow, raised in the Czech Republic, and is currently studying in London. One of the most recognizable singers on the Czech pop scene makes the most of her rich cultural heritage by showcasing it in her music and visuals. A deep atmospheric sound, hypnotic vocals, euphoric choruses, sleek pop arrangements, clever lyrics in both Czech and English and stylish videos – that’s Aiko in a nutshell, currently fronting her own backing band consisting of a drummer and a guitarist. The talented singer and musician is working on the follow up to her first EP Aiko (2018) and her first full-length Expiration Date (2020) at the moment and plans to release fresh music by the end of this year. Aiko’s road to success started out as a contestant on Czech Idol, from where she skyrocketed to festivals like Sziget or Waves Vienna. Aiko is more than ready to become world-famous, having already had her photo grace New York’s Times Square as part of Spotify’s EQUAL campaign.
